Vegas

Last night saw the biggest hit The Family have undertaken so far. There will be promotions once The Godfather finds out! Again, Murderous acted on her own initiative and kept Family loyalty in full sight! She's a good worker, and will be getting a dip in The Godfather's tub at the next Family Party!

Knowing one of the Family had been banged up by some straight judge, Murderous had a few words with our Shyster, to see if we could spring her. Miss Fritton has been banged up for the last 5 years. On account of a slip up made by an ex-Family member who overlooked a jury member in the 'bribe or die' push. Miss Fritton has been very helpful to The Family and Murderous knew a bit of loyalty wouldn't go amiss.

Murderous spoke with our Shyster, who worked out an alibi with a helpful member of the public (there's always room for more Family memebers, if you are reading this). He agreed to testify that Miss Fritton was busy with him at the time. As a gentleman, he was unwilling to go into detail about the actual activities, thus sparing him and Miss Fritton the danger of a perjury case!

Turns out the screws were happy to increase their wages that week and a blind eye was turned towards Miss Fritton's cell window! You'll all remember how The Family first met Miss Fritton when she was touring with the West Country Cirus and Pasty Company, as chief highwire and trapeze act. It was a swift swing on the sheets and a leap into her gentleman friend's arms and she was away. If you are asked where she is, you think she is still banged up. She'll moved quietly back when the heat is off. The helpful member of the public is welcome to approach The Godfather anytime he wants help from The Family, as thanks for his loyalty.

Talking of favours, one was called in by @Ourmissingcat. No prizes for guessing what the favour was! Kitty was last seen on a plane to Vegas. Some useful men were sent to stop Kitty at the airport, but she slipped by. I have been asked, by The Godfather, to find out how a small domestic pet can get past several large men in dark suits and shades. He wonders if we shall need to replace some broken machinary.

The boys had messed up, so Murderous took Imperial Arm with her and set off to track Kitty down. They followed her tracks to a joint in Vegas. She was at some blackjack table with a bunch of high rollers. Seems the Vegas boys were out of town, that night, as the two operatives managed to get inside the building with no questions asked. Murderous did the old stage routine and, while the dealer was busy taking in the goods, Imperial took the table goods! No goons in sight, they picked up the manager and explained his life expectancy to him. He was happy to open the safe and sit quietly while Murderous and Imperial brought Kitty and the kitty home with them.

You all know Murderous is a party girl and, when they got home, Imperial dropped her off for a meet with a hired gun. He isn't known to many of The Family, but we have heard good things about him. I understand the meeting took all night and Murderous managed to make it very clear just how worth his while and entertaining co-operating with the Family will be for him. Anyone needs the new Hired Gun, go speak to Murderous.

We got some very grateful members of the public out there who got Kitty back. Imperial Arm and Murderous Moll got themselves more respect from The Godfather and The Family has made an impression on other joints.
